Jackie Hernandez, our in-house "Linen Queen" and Event Coordinator, has worked hard to find the newest trends in colors and venues. She redesigns the showroom twice a year and the following photos are the result! The Showroom looks absolutely gorgeous!

THE NEWEST WEDDING TREND FOR MEN
THE NEWEST TREND FOR MEN DURING THE WEDDING RECEPTION!
I find this amazing! I read this article yesterday about the "man cave" at receptions. It is awesome that men are getting more involved with the planning of not only the wedding, but the reception as well. I have always felt compassion for the groomsmen attending the reception with the bridal party gals and/or their families. Someone came up with the idea of creating a space just for the guys at the recption! I'm reading about the rooms or special areas set up with BlackJack tables, cigar bars, brandy and beer stations, maybe a flatscreen to catch the days' sport action. It must be wonderful for the Groom to be able to include his friends, his groomsmen (and any other fella with an invite to the wedding); whom were asked to stand with him on his important day and be witness to the love and commitment he has. And then to have a blast with them after the ceremony! Now that's a great trend, and it's a winning idea in our book!
If it's an outdoor wedding and reception; we can always come up with a tent with sidewalls for that privacy for all the men attending to find themselves in the "Man Cave"... Excellent!

Wedding Trends for Spring!
This is the time that all brides and grooms are aware of the wedding trends this year. The trends seem to effortlessly change over the Winter months and sneak up on us by Spring. With the Royal wedding in a few short weeks, most of whom are trying to plan their event around the April 29, 2011 date is having a difficult time finding the Royal colors anywhere. We are having the same problem.
However, our in-house Linen Queen, Jackie has been busy searching every avenue for those colors to no avail. She has come up with the newest and hottest trends in Weddings!
The Spring colors are Raspberry, Sky Blue Swirl, Lemon, Soft Limes, Deep Rich Turquoise, Soft Smoky Apricot, Lavendars, Charcoals, and VINTAGE LACE!
Seems to me that quite a few weddings and rehearsal dinners are touting the Vintage feel more and more thorughout, from the Empire-waisted wedding dress to the table linens of turn of the century.
Chocolate browns are making the trend in the groom's attire as well as the grooms' party with a touch of the rich brown color becoming an accent during the reception and dinner.
Every year the trends change from elaborate to simple and back again. No matter what trend you choose,
or make your own, keep it the way YOU want it. It is after all, YOUR DAY!

SPRING IS HERE!
AHHHH the joy of Spring coming! We can feel the in the warmth of each day here in the mountains! We are planning many many blogs about the upcoming events in this area. So check back regularly!
Every bride is getting ready for her special day and we are here to help! We have re-done our entire showroom, as it's done every 6 months by Jackie Hernandez- our in house Linen Queen!
